Help your child off to a healthy start with Kinder Kickz! Kinder Kickz is a non-competitive, activity-based program for children ages 18 months to 12 years. The progressive learning curriculum will focus on improving motor, social and soccer skills in a fun and positive environment. The Kinder Kickz program is the perfect introduction into sports and group play. 3 GREAT REASONS FOR KIDS TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS AND ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES
BOUNDARIES If you have ever struggled with your child to help them learn boundaries, then sports can help. As in all aspects of life, all sports have rules and boundaries. Through their involvement kids learn that boundaries and rules are part of the game on and off the court.
EFFORT Many parents have found it tough to motivate their child to put forth maximum effort. In team sports, children are challenged both mentally and physically to step out of their comfort zone and try. Simply by trying and putting forth effort, they will learn that true rewards only come as a result of effort.
PRACTICE Whether you are playing the piano, learning your ABC’s or shooting baskets, the principles of practice are all the same. Practice does not make perfect, but it teaches children that repetitive action helps them to retain knowledge & skills. Sports helps children to learn that practice is the only way to improve their skills on paper or on the field.
Even if your child has never played a sport, University of Sports has something special to offer them. Through participation at our camps, children have fun while making new friends. They are taught steps to dealing with success and failure, develop their balance and coordination and sports specific skills, while experiencing the value and rewards associated with personal effort and teamwork.
Find out what over 81,000 “happy campers” have experienced through University of Sports camp programs. Give your childthe chance to learn life-skills in a safe, noncompetitive and fun environment. |
